Privacy Policy

This policy describes how personal data is processed for users who interact with the "Anubismo" editorial project, visit the anubismo.it website, or provide their email address through the contact-collection forms. It is provided pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR").

    1. Data Controller

The data controller is Nicola Torre, resident in Vlorë (Valona), Albania.

For any request regarding data processing and to exercise your GDPR rights, write to: info@anubismo.it

    2. Types of data processed

    a) Contact data provided voluntarily: the email address submitted through the Meta/Facebook lead form (Instant Form) or through any forms on anubismo.it, and the name where the user chooses to provide it.

    b) Browsing and tracking data: technical data about the device and browsing activity (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages visited, interactions), including via the Meta Pixel installed on the site.

    3. Purposes of processing

    a) To send the user a free extract of the book "Sacro Tomo".

    b) To send the periodic newsletter "la Messa del Profeta".

    c) To operate the website and, via the Meta Pixel, measure the effectiveness of advertising and communication campaigns.

    4. Legal basis

Processing of contact data for the extract and newsletter is based on the freely given consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which can be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

Processing via non-technical cookies and tracking technologies is also based on consent, collected through the dedicated banner on first access.

    5. Recipients and processors

To deliver the services, the Controller relies on external providers, appointed as processors under Art. 28 GDPR or acting as independent controllers under their own terms:

    a) Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — email marketing platform for managing the contact list and sending the extract and newsletter. Servers located in the United States (see Section 6).

    b) Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc. — for collecting contacts via the Facebook/Instagram lead form and for the Meta Pixel installed on the site.

    c) Aruba — website hosting provider, for the technical management and storage of the data needed to run anubismo.it.

Data is not disclosed or sold to third parties for purposes other than those stated. It may be shared with public authorities where required by law.

    6. Extra-EU data transfers and safeguards

Some providers (in particular Kit and Meta) may process data on servers located in the United States or otherwise outside the European Union.

Such transfers comply with Articles 44 et seq. GDPR, based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision (where the provider is certified) or the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission, supplemented where necessary.

You may request further information and a copy of the safeguards by writing to info@anubismo.it

    7. Retention period

Contact data is retained for as long as necessary to provide the service and, in any case, until the data subject withdraws consent or requests erasure (e.g. by unsubscribing via the link in every communication).

Data collected through the Meta Pixel is retained according to Meta's policies and for the time strictly necessary for the stated purposes.

    8. Nature of the provision

Providing your email is optional. Refusal only means you cannot receive the free extract of "Sacro Tomo" and the "la Messa del Profeta" newsletter, and does not affect access to the freely available content of the site.

    9. Cookies and tracking technologies

The site uses cookies and similar technologies. The Meta Pixel is installed, a Meta tool that collects browsing information to measure campaign effectiveness.
