Parasites, parasitoids and predators: an Anubist analysis

Let the Anubist rest easy right away: Anubis has no parasite problem...

Let the Anubist rest easy right away: Anubis has no parasite problem whatsoever.

The Prophet often hears the State described as a parasite, and that is decidedly inaccurate.

Allow the Prophet to bust your divine spheres with a little “biology”.

Parasites are organisms with a simple structure (a land registry clerk) that profit from their host by harming it, but without killing it.

Parasites that end their life cycle by killing the host are called parasitoids. (The Italian Revenue Agency)

A predator, on the other hand, lives independently and kills several individuals.

(The army when it invades another country to “export democracy”)

As is well known, the Anubist is an animal lover, but only until the second precept is broken.

If the Anubist is attacked by lice, he treats himself without worrying about the rights of the louse.

What is the point of all this biological sphere-busting?

The State is not just a parasite: it evolves over time.

As discussed at length, the State is born a parasite, feeding on the wealth produced by private individuals.

The more the parasites feed, the more they multiply, and the State grows in cost, in weight and in restrictions on freedom.

This is where the parasites turn into parasitoids, because they kill the organism (the productive economy), which, slowly dying, no longer produces enough wealth to feed too many parasites.

(Factory closures, unemployment and so on.)

When the parasitoids can no longer extract the nourishment they want and risk having to go and produce wealth themselves, they turn into predators by going to war with someone so they can carry on parasitising, slaughtering a whole lot of people.

That is the reason for this sphere-busting: the State is not just a parasite, it is born a parasite, evolves into a parasitoid and finally becomes a predator.

The Prophet thought it important to name the disease correctly, so that a cure can be found more easily.

For now, dear Anubist, follow the example of your Dog God: avoid catching parasites and parasitoids, and steer clear of predators!
