Anubistic Power: who is more dangerous, the one in charge or the one who claps?

All over the world, AQL is routinely wrecked by a great many players who use whatever they have at hand to attack everyone else.

Each of us, in our own small way, tries to work out who the enemy is.

In his lifetime the Prophet has seen the blame pinned on practically everything in existence, living or dead.

The world's shittiness rises steadily, the adepts adore Anubis with ever greater intensity, and they find it ever harder to see where the enemy is.

Let us try an Anubistic approach to the question, to help the younger adepts get the picture.

The enemy, dear adept, has no proper name; it is simply called Power.

Anyone who has power uses it to profit at your expense.

Every time you give power to someone, you will end up adoring Anubis.

Power to the People, then? Thanks, but no!

Think of the damage the “people” has often done.

Have you ever heard anyone say that the enemy is Power itself?

Why not? It is so simple!

Quite simply, whoever tries to convince you of something does it to increase their own power, so they cannot say it.

A little gem: in an interview, the great Italian journalist Indro Montanelli said: “Mussolini understood one fundamental thing, namely that to please the Italians you had to give each one of them a small slice of power with the right to abuse it… Fascism had created a hierarchy so elaborate and complex that everyone had stripes on his sleeve.”

States work tirelessly to destroy small business (notorious tax dodgers, of course) through taxes, bans and obligations that, by sheer coincidence, only big companies can afford.

Power is the goal of many, and whether in good faith or bad, they will abuse that power.

Given that Power is your enemy, how do you defend yourself?

It is very simple: give power to no one.

Every time you cheer for someone or hand someone a mandate, they will fuck you over: the enemy is everywhere, in every form of power, even the smallest.

But who is it that hands out the power?

You are, dear Adept.

The good Anubist seeks power over himself, not over others.

“Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.” – Lord Acton

Since the enemy is power itself, the only option you have for living in peace is to fight constantly against the formation of every form of power and never believe that anyone is acting for your good.

“Man becomes truly dangerous when he starts playing with power.” – Carl Gustav Jung
